InvestFest Recap

I spent the other weekend at InvestFest in Atlanta, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations. InvestFest is a first of its kind, in-person experience to combine investing, entrepreneurship, pop culture, and entertainment in a festival setting and it was my first time attending. I found that I enjoyed the vendor marketplace the most, which was packed with innovative businesses, from apparel brands to tech startups. It was inspiring to see and connect with so many like-minded people, all focused on business and investing.

The Closing Tech Divide

With the advancements in AI, something that continues to live in my head is the idea of the decreasing tech divide. I’ve been experimenting with tools like Claude for a while, but now there’s Cursor, which some are calling ChatGPT for coding, whereby it allows you to create apps using natural language commands. With Cursor, software development tools like Replit and Vercel, and LLMs such as Claude, we’re at a point where you can bring most software ideas to life.
